VoyageClan abides by the Warrior Code, of which goes as follows.
1. Defend your clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other clans, but your loyalty must remain to your clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another clan's territory.
3. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10. A Gathering of all clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night.
11. There shall be no fighting among clans at this time. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily.
12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different clan.
13. The word of the clan leader is the warrior code.
14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
15. Each clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side to protect the four.
16. Each clan must help the others so that no clan will fall.
Additionally,
Kits must stay in camp until they are apprenticed, and are not allowed to hunt.
The safety of the clan is more important than the safety of one cat.
Clans must not unite together to drive out another clan.
Clans must not force another clan to share territory.
Enemy patrols must not attack cats if they are on a mission all clans agree on.1. Homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, etc. will not be tolerated in any way, shape or form.
2. No NSFW, period. We have several minors in our group, and they (and probably a lot of the adults as well) don't need nor want to see that.
3. Respect everyone and their beliefs, even if you don't agree with them.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten.
5. Minor irp drama is permitted, and major irp drama is allowed with permission from a Med Cat+
6. Adding onto rule 3, respect the High Ranks. They are both the high ranks in roleplay, and moderators and rule makers outside of it. Additionally, respect shouldn't be exclusive to high ranks, treat all your clanmates with the kindness they deserve.
7. Make sure to okay it with the oc's owner before harming an oc that isn't yours.
8. You may only get rid of an oc after actively rping them for a month.
9. Do keep in mind that this is just Roleplay. If someone's character is angry or upset with yours, please don't see it as a personal thing. These cats may represent us, but they aren't us.
10. The OC limit is currently Three, the third slot being earned by participating in clan events. If you've read these rules, make sure to put your favorite aesthetic in the "extra" part of your joining form.
11. If you don't follow these rules, you put yourself at risk for a ban or other consequences.
12. Swears will now be permitted without censoring. Derogatory words/Slurs are still very much prohibited and a violation of our rules! (Usage of such words will result in a ban or other consequences).
Long, long ago, before the founding of any of the clans, there existed a group of ancient cats who worshiped what they called The Warrior’s Pantheon. The Pantheon consisted of six Gods, all of whom represented and ruled over aspects of the warriors’ lives. The Gods treated the ancient cats with kindness, and helped to guide and aid them through their hardships and tribulations. In return, the ancient cats created art and places of worship for the Gods.

As years passed, cats changed. War broke out, and seeing this as a sign their Gods had abandoned them, less and less cats believed in The Warrior’s Pantheon. As the dust settled, all that sat in the destruction of mortals were ghosts of the once great society that believed in the Gods. The temples and holy art that had been created by the warriors were overgrown by nature and lost with the winds of time.

Now, the grounds that once held so much significance have been rediscovered, and dubbed Paradise Hollow. The cats of VoyageClan and TwilightClan have searched the ruins, discovering the ancient art and shrines, and a faith in The Warrior’s Pantheon has been reborn. With their regained strength, the Gods have once again started bestowing their gifts upon the cats of both clans, and an era of peace is born.

VoyageClan was founded many, many moons ago by the cats who crashed on the boat that now makes up the clan's camp. These cats were partially owned by pirates back in the day, being used to keep the rodent population on the ship down. After a huge Twoleg battle on the deck of the ship, no pirates remained to steer the vessel, and both parties died in the crash, too focused on the battle to retreat.
The cats, however, remained, and were able to survive with the guidance of StarClan.
Fast forward many, many moons, and Kangaroostar (then named Kangarookit) washes up on the beach territory of a dying VoyageClan. He was adopted into the clan, but an unfortunate disease was sweeping through the cats there even before he'd arrived. Soon enough, everyone Kangaroo cherished aside from his adoptive brother, Tidepoolsplash, and his best friend, Fadinglight, perished along with the disease. To this day, Kangaroostar doesn't know why he and his brother and friend were the only ones to survive, perhaps it was the will of the stars or simply dumb luck, but the fact remained that the three toms were the only survivors.
The three lived on their own in a shell of VoyageClan's former glory, until outside cats' paws were guided to VoyageClan by the stars.
This is where the journey begins.
