synopsis

in a world untouched by mankind, valleyclan resides in a hostile, rocky desert with little to no foliage. large rock formations and cliff faces comprise most, if not all, of their territory. the territory has few seasonal changes, with winter-time offering little relief from the heat. valleyclan was founded by a group of friends seeking solace in a brutal, unforgiving environment. while times have changed and the founders have since passed, valleyclan still fosters those same connections, close-knit and relying on their trust in each other to survive
the group holds the idea of a "great valley" sacred, believing that when members die they arrive in a lush, contrasting territory. some believe the great valley is a real place, others believe it's simple folklore and religious speak. "tree stars", or large, 5-pointed leaves, are held sacred in the clans' eyes, believed to be signs of good luck in a land void of most greenery.
based on universal studio's the land before time, valleyclan offers a laid-back, welcoming roleplay environment for all interested.

I. → treat all members with respect and integrity. any hate speech and/or slurs are prohibited.
II. → nsfw topics, roleplays, or art of any sort are not welcome in our server.
III. → permanent visitors are allowed! you'll have access to the entirety of the server aside from the roleplay channels!

VI. → there is no oc limit! have as many as you can handle.

I. → keep things realistic! while we're very open to most names, designs, and accessories, please keep all concepts grounded in some sense of reality.
II. → basic literacy & grammar is expected and 3+ sentence roleplays are encouraged! latin or "advanced" roleplay is discouraged for simplicity's sake! please refrain from using complicated fonts throughout messages.
III. → any major injuries caused by one character to another must be discussed by both parties. things like minor cuts and bruises do not need to be discussed, but actions with lasting effects must be discussed.
IV. → any ideas for major character development must be discussed with a staff member! although these may be plots, there is no guarantee that it will be allowed. minor personal development may happen without staff approval, and is encouraged! (big impact = big plot & probably worth dming a high rank about!)
