Your eyes pondered aimlessly around the marshland that seemed to never end, desperate for some prey to come by. Your ears perked at the sound of a rabbit rustling in the distance, your sight a bit hazy from the exhaustion that had begun to dull your senses. Your paws pounded quickly on the marshland, eager to refill yourself with the plump rabbit. Your legs, however, did not carry with the order of your thoughts. You collapsed whilst attempting to extend your stride, tripping over yourself as you watched the rabbit desperately. “You’re awfully slow, are you exhausted or just weak?” A voice sneered with mild amusement. “One of our apprentices could do better than that.” His voice sounded again, an intent sense of mockery in his tone. You looked up to see a large feline with brown features complemented with black streaks throughout the pelt, with a finish of a lighter, ivory-like color. The cat held the rabbit you were chasing in his jaws. You continued to observe them before your strained voice responded “I’m not here for your entertainment. Don’t underestimate me.” You snarled, forcing yourself to stand to face the feline. His features formed into a frown. “However… I can’t help but notice you were trying to hunt in my territory. Why are you here?” He asked, narrowing his eyes. You gave the feline one more glance before you dropped your guard, letting your body tire under the scorching heat. “I got tired of living on the streets, running from dogs here and there, so I’ve been wandering for days now, at least. As I’ve traveled, I haven’t found a bit of food aside from what you’re carrying. I have found water at least, though. I had no knowledge of there being anyone who claimed these lands as their own.” You said, finally deciding to give him the story. He nodded, tossing the rabbit at your paws. “Well then. My name is Cedarstar, I lead Adderclan. You can either join us or leave immediately.”
