General Grits is a normal-sized Virgina Opossum with black eyes. He has a long, wormish tail and a pointed snout. Grits sometimes carries around a swiss army knife he found in a dumpster Name- Grits Name Meaning- Grits' adoptive parents had a breakfast name scheme with their current kits and they thought he looked like a Grits. Gender- Male (any pronouns, preferred he/him and Grits/Grits') Age- 17 moons Roleplayer- Ailurophobic#2572 Physical Grits is a rather average opossum, bearing white fur with grey tips. He is stocky. He has opposable thumbs and is able to grip things with ease. Height- 10 inches Weight- 16 pounds Eye Color- Black Nose and Pads- Light Pink Fur Color- White and Grey Personality Positive- Alert, Incorruptible, Unfazable Neutral- Rash, Moody Negative- Absent-minded, Harebrained, Compulsive Backstory Grits was born to a mother opossum. At around 3 moons he was separated from her and found by a cat couple named Ladybug and Hopper. They had a litter of their own and mistook him for an abandoned kittypet kitten. Ladybug's kits were named Omelette, Cereal, and Oatmeal, so naturally she and Hopper agreed on naming their new kit "Grits". Ladybug and Hopper taught Grits when he was old enough how to hunt, but were confused by his difficulty to wriggle his hindquarters and pounce well, but continued on trying to teach him. When Grits was 10 moons old and still could not hunt, they decided to bring him to a local clan to try and turn him into a medicine cat. The clan cats were confused by his weird paws and long snout, but Ladybug clarified he was a different breed of cat. Grits was allowed to become a medicine cat. Two moons later, while he was picking herbs with his mentor, Sparkstone, they spotted a dog. Grits suddenly fell over and was unable to move or talk for several hours. His mentor decided it was best for him to be moved to the elder's den. Grits soon left in the middle of the night.
