Mothspot is a young calico she-cat who was once a leader of Waspclan. After her parents and the clan's previous leader mysteriously disappeared on a patrol, Mothspot was quickly promoted to Mothstar. She began her leadership rather inexperienced and naive, but as time passed, she became a capable and flexible leader with the guidance of her clanmates and through her vast experiences.

The prefix "moth" was given to her due to her fuzzy fur as a kitten. The suffix "spot" was given to her after she grew into her markings, splotches of grey and tawny with a light tabby pattern. During her time as a leader, she only lost one life. Upon the clan's disbanning, she returned 7 lives back to the spirits.

Mothspot hadn't been a warrior long before she was chosen by Waspclan's past leader, Redstar, to become her deputy. Although Mothspot was scatterbrained and inexperienced, Redstar believed she had the potential to be an excellent leader with a good head and heart. Redstar planned to raise and guide her over the moons, but unfortunately a tragic accident befell the leader soon after Moth's promotion. Mothspot was thus promoted quickly to Mothstar, and though she tried to lead the clan with a steady paw and live up to expectations, she had no idea what she was doing.

Early Leadership

Mothstar appointed the older feline Spidergorge as her deputy, and often relied on his advice when making clan decisions. However, she has began to grow into her own kind of independence. This doesn't mean she is completely secure in her decisions, she still relies greatly on her clanmates' opinions and takes as many as she can into consideration. She helped secure defenses in Waspclan's territory when two apprentices accidentally brought a fox close to camp, but is upset that she was left behind to guard the camp rather than out fighting the predator with her clanmates.

Positive

Mothspot is often loyal to a fault in the most literal meaning possible. It is not difficult to win her trust and support and she will become very defensive and protective of the relationships she forms. It takes a great deal to cause her to lose trust in an associate, yet in most situations, she is readily forgiving if some form of an apology is offered up to her. One of her more base traits is that Mothspot is friendly, perhaps naively so. She is always willing to lend a helping-paw to those in need and won't turn a blind eye to an unfortunate situation. Although she gives advice freely, oftentimes she chooses the wrong wording or it doesn't make total sense. Her humor is very kit-like, silly small jokes or inside jokes with herself that others wouldn't quite understand. Her optimism and vigor have lessoned some due to her hardships as a leader.

Negative

As stated above, Mothspot is still somewhat impressionable due to her young age. Although this trait isn't inherently negative, it presents unseen problems for her. Mothspot can become flustered if other felines approach her with overwhelming questions regarding matters of importance.

Note here: Mothstar has become less impressionable and is slowly growing into her own independence. Her confidence is on the rise, but still needs some amount of work. A close friend she trusts would be able to sway her mind after some convincing.

Fur

Mothspot has medium-length, fluffy fur. Occasionally after returning to camp from patrols or hunting parties, she can sometimes be overheard muttering complaints about the amount of burrs that get caught in her pelt.

Accessories

She wears two orange leaves behind her left ear as an accessory. These are symbolic for change and future growth.
